I believe it is every human’s right to experience
a safe, informed, consensual, and positive birth.

Advocating for your own autonomy and right to make informed decisions for you and your family can be challenging in the birth world as it is.

I recognize that providers’ biases, disinformation and medical malpractice negatively impacts and harms particular populations within the United States more than others. Racism, nationalism, sexism, homophobia, and transphobia are prominent injustices that take place every day in birth work and risk not only the wellbeing, but the lives of birthing parents and their babies.

My practice and my services are a safe and empathetic space for LGBTQIA+ families, single parents, non-native families, BIPOC, teen parents, adoptive parents, parents seeking abortion support, and people of all racial, ethnic and religious backgrounds.

While I am not an expert in working within any sole population, I am dedicated to uplifting, supporting, protecting, advocating for and learning from families of all backgrounds and dynamics.

I honor your unique path to building your family and am humbled by your openness in welcoming me into this intimate time in your life.
