My experience with Francesca was amazing. She brought peace and calmness in my birth room. My husband started becoming concerned for me during a long labor - our midwives recommended Francesca for the remainder of my birth, and both of us felt so much better once we had her present. I always say she was just as much of my husband’s doula. I also feel like I am successful in my breastfeeding journey because of Francesca. The very first feeding is so important, and I did not feel like I was capable of holding my own baby after birth, so Francesca offered to hold the baby while she fed. Thank you Francesca for all you do. We love you!

Francesca taught a private yoga class for my family on my mom's 60th birthday and it was the best gift ever! She was so accommodating to every single one of my family members, from my sister who is pregnant with twins to my 90-year-old grandma. My birth experience would not have been as magical as it was without Frankie by my side. From all the extra support in the days leading up to labor, to her gentle reassurance as my birth plans were forced to change, Frankie was essential in my having the best possible birth. She tirelessly shook and squeezed my hips, did all the Spinning Babies magic, and gave me gentle reminders to breathe when I needed it the most. I know my partner was super grateful to have her there when he got tired, overwhelmed, or just didn’t know how to best help me. We both agree that Frankie’s help in my birth was pivotal and such a blessing.

I was skeptical at first about spending money to hire a doula for my wife’s birth, but I went with it anyway as it was our first time having a child. Francesca’s help was way more supportive and helpful throughout the labor process than I anticipated. She was the one who thought to start the tub at the right time so my wife and I could have the birth we envisioned. I was so overwhelmed with emotion and helping my wife, I couldn’t even think of the things Francesca was able to remember for us. It was well worth it to have Francesca there to guide us through the labor process.

I noticed Francesca was a wealth of knowledge from the start of our very first phone call. She gave me incredible advice and catered specifically to me. She is also soft, kind and deliberately chooses her words as she speaks with you, which made me feel special and heard. Some would say having a doula in addition to family helping at a birth is overkill, but there were times and needs that ONLY Francesca could fill! She has a unique way of bringing peace and listening so intently that she is able to personalize her care for everyone in the room…I would say even the midwife benefits. Francesca was put on this planet to be a doula. I am so grateful that she was part of my journey. I was a non-conventional client in that I opted for an elective C-section- so I didn’t need support through a vaginal birth. What I did need, was a non-judgmental advocate to support me through my fears of childbirth and many of my self-judgements surrounding my non-traditional preferences for birth and postpartum. Francesca empowered me in every way. I felt very safe with her- and deeply valued our time together. I opted to have her on board from my first trimester on- and I was so glad that I did. Francesca has a well-rounded approach, and had many wonderful tricks up her sleeve to guide me through every phase of becoming a mommy. She even offered craniosacral work to help alleviate morning sickness- which I had for my entire pregnancy. It was the only modality that seemed to help! I will most definitely be hiring Frankie again if we welcome another little one. I can’t recommend her enough!

Where to begin! I could not have asked for a better doula for my first pregnancy and birth experience. Francesca was always so responsive anytime I had questions. She has a wealth of knowledge. She has the most calming and kind demeanor, you can’t help but feel safe and calm as well. I was planning to birth my son at a birthing center but labor sped up pretty quickly at home and he was born in our bathroom. Francesca didn’t skip a beat! Not only did she communicate with the midwives so well, but she constantly made me feel so safe, strong and capable and helped bring my baby boy earth-side safely. I will feel connected to Francesca forever. I will without a doubt use her again if I have another baby and recommend her to every person I know.

Francesca is amazing! I took her yoga classes twice a week while pregnant. She has a very calm energy that always made me feel at peace. Not only did her classes help my body but also put my mind at ease. She makes everyone feel included in class which lead to many friendships with other mamas outside of class! Frankie is a 10/10 badass spirit warrior doula mama from heaven.
We had a savage 4 day labor and Frankie was there every step of the way guiding us at all hours of the day whenever we needed.
As a useless feeling husband, having her help and support was crucial when things didn't go as planned. She made me feel confident we could handle anything that came our way with her affirmations, calm demeanor, badass yoga moves, and well timed jokes. I literally told her she should charge twice as much because she is that amazing - we will always be grateful for Frankie!

Francesca saw me through the last part of my pregnancies, my labors, and postpartums with the birth of both of my sons. The care she provides is exceptional! Starting with the prenatal period, almost immediately Francesca's warm and calm demeanor creates and environment that feels safe, where you can openly share and talk through what you are feeling without judgment. This lends to her talent in leading amazing prenatal yoga classes which really allow you to tune into your body and honor the changes, growth, and discomforts that come with pregnancy (and honestly just life in general). That relationship fostered in the prenatal period carries over beautifully during labor and birth. She's ever present no matter how long or short the labor ends of being. She's able to meet the laboring person where they are physically and mentally and guide them to the next stage with grace. She's a strong advocate for informed choice and is definitely someone you want having your back when you may not be in the headspace to express your wishes yourself. I was especially fortunate to have her at my side through the birth of my second son (a very fast one) where she was able to quickly react and get me into a good position to birth. While the entire room felt chaotic, she was a calm presence and while she may not have said anything directly, her actions made me feel like everything was going to be ok. Lastly, in the postpartum period, Francesca again provides space to express current and past feelings, helping you you work through the birth experience through debriefing, and the early postpartum emotions by reassuring, educating, and sometimes just being a listening ear. She is also an amazing cook and will definitely make sure you are well nourished in those early days! Any birthing person and family would be so lucky to have her as your doula.
